Happy 14 Months!

Kendall turned 14 months old on Saturday. With it being the day of the big Georgia vs. Missouri game, we couldn't resist taking her "monthly" picture with Uga instead of the usual crew.

I can't believe that I have a toddler. I tell Kendall that she's still Mommy's baby, but indeed she's not a baby anymore! Kendall is doing so much these days. She loves to wave hello and bye bye. She even says "bye-bye" as she waves. She also says "mom" a whole lot. Usually she repeats it over and over, especially when she's being whiny or wants something. "Mom mom mommmm mommmm." Usually a few are really drawn out on the end for emphasis. Haha. She also says "ba ba" for everything. It's her saying when she wants something. She points and says "ba ba".

Kendall has become quite a good eater. She's not eating baby food at all anymore. Some of her favorites are cheese, broccoli, green beans, bread, fish, banana, pancakes, and blueberries. She does not like avocado or grits and is not showing an interest much in pasta dishes.

Kendall is walking around the house with assistance. We hold her hands and she will go all over the living room and kitchen. She also has a few toys that she walks behind and will push them all over the place.

She's still sleeping well through the night. She typically goes to bed around 8 and wakes up around 7. She's had a little spell where she wakes up around 4 or 4:30, but she'll usually put herself back to sleep. She was sleeping until 8 for a few weeks, but that was just a tease. Although it was nice while it lasted. Who knew that I would ever consider 8:00 "sleeping in"?

I started working part-time a few weeks ago and I'm really loving the extra time with my girl. It also gives me some extra time at home to get things done, which was much needed! Kendall and I love going to the park on my day off with her. We take her pink and purple car and walk on the walking track. She loves to swing and go down the slide.

I can't wait to see what the next month brings. I'm thinking we'll have a walking little one in the next few months!

"Well hey there little guy. Who are you?"

I could just EAT.HER.UP!

Look at that sweet face.

No more sweet faces. Taking a bite of Uga's ear!

Happy 3rd Birthday K-Bug!

Kendall had her third birthday party at the splash pad. The rec center has a great room for rent where we held the actual party. Since she's in love with Doc McStuffins, we did the whole party around that theme. She had a good time and looked pretty adorable too!

Halloween 2014

Kendall went back and forth this year on whether she wanted to be her favorite TV character, Doc McStuffins, or a construction worker. The verdict was a construction worker until about two days before the Fall Parade at Weekday. She was such a cute little doctor! We also got to dress her up and go to our new neighborhood to Trick or Treat with friends. We closed on the new house on October 30, so even though we hadn't moved in, we were able to hang out with new neighbors!

Stone Mountain

Today was Kendall's first trip to Stone Mountain. We rode the tram to the top, ate lunch, rode the train around the mountain, and enjoyed the sights. Such a fun day with Grammy and Pops!   The sign of a good day!
