Braves Game

Last week, Mom won tickets from work to the Braves game, along with a parking pass. So Ryan, Mom, Lauren, and I went to the game together (Dad was out of town unfortunately).

After eating dinner at Taqueria del Sol (yum!) we pulled up to Turner Field and headed to the "Medallion Lot" where our parking pass was. We soon found out that this was the valet lot right at the front of the stadium. Talk about VIP! We literally walked across the street and were in the stadium.

There was a double header, so when we got there, we saw the last two innings of the first game and saw the Braves win. As the second game started, and the sun went down, it started getting really cold and really windy! We were all trying to be tough, but after braving the cold for a few hours, we decided to leave in the 5th inning. We justified leaving so early since we had already seen them win once. Despite the frigid weather, we had a great time. And even though we weren't there for the end of the 2nd game, the Braves won that game too!

Entertaining ourselves in between games

Tim Hudson pitched the entire game!

Happy 3rd Birthday K-Bug!

Kendall had her third birthday party at the splash pad. The rec center has a great room for rent where we held the actual party. Since she's in love with Doc McStuffins, we did the whole party around that theme. She had a good time and looked pretty adorable too!

Halloween 2014

Kendall went back and forth this year on whether she wanted to be her favorite TV character, Doc McStuffins, or a construction worker. The verdict was a construction worker until about two days before the Fall Parade at Weekday. She was such a cute little doctor! We also got to dress her up and go to our new neighborhood to Trick or Treat with friends. We closed on the new house on October 30, so even though we hadn't moved in, we were able to hang out with new neighbors!

Baby Girl!

We are 5 weeks away from the due date of our 2nd baby girl. I haven't been as good at documenting this pregnancy along the way. Some of that is owed to the fact that it's the 2nd, and some of it is owed to the fact that I just don't keep up with the blog anymore. But I know I'll want to look back on this time and have some documentation, so here goes nothing! This pregnancy has been a harder one than Kendall's. Or either I just forgot most of the hard stuff from the first time around. I was definitely much sicker this time, from 6 weeks until 15 weeks. I was nauseous all day every day, and threw up most days. No medicines would help at all. I was grateful to reach the point where I started to feel better. I wasn't sure that it was actually going to come! We are nervous and excited to meet this sweet baby. Right now, I can't even imagine having enough room in my heart to love another child the way I love Kendall. So I'm really excited to see how the L...
