3rd Trimester!

I'm officially in the 3rd trimester now, with only a little more than 11 weeks to go before my due date. I feel like I've accomplished something, making it through the first two trimesters. But I know that it's not to mine or Ryan's credit that this little life is thriving and growing. Ryan and I are so in awe of our God and the amazing miracle going on inside of me. I certainly try not to take any part of this pregnancy for granted, especially with the many stories of infertility, etc. that I hear working at an adoption agency. We're so thankful for our daughter and can't wait to meet her in less than 3 months.

We had another doctor's appointment this week, which included the glucose screening test where I had to drink a super sweet drink and have my blood drawn. Kendall was moving around like crazy after I finished the drink! Her heartbeat was really strong today and easy for the nurse to find. I'll start going to the doctor every 2 weeks now, instead of every 4. We're getting closer!

Happy 3rd Birthday K-Bug!

Kendall had her third birthday party at the splash pad. The rec center has a great room for rent where we held the actual party. Since she's in love with Doc McStuffins, we did the whole party around that theme. She had a good time and looked pretty adorable too!

Halloween 2014

Kendall went back and forth this year on whether she wanted to be her favorite TV character, Doc McStuffins, or a construction worker. The verdict was a construction worker until about two days before the Fall Parade at Weekday. She was such a cute little doctor! We also got to dress her up and go to our new neighborhood to Trick or Treat with friends. We closed on the new house on October 30, so even though we hadn't moved in, we were able to hang out with new neighbors!

Baby Girl!

We are 5 weeks away from the due date of our 2nd baby girl. I haven't been as good at documenting this pregnancy along the way. Some of that is owed to the fact that it's the 2nd, and some of it is owed to the fact that I just don't keep up with the blog anymore. But I know I'll want to look back on this time and have some documentation, so here goes nothing! This pregnancy has been a harder one than Kendall's. Or either I just forgot most of the hard stuff from the first time around. I was definitely much sicker this time, from 6 weeks until 15 weeks. I was nauseous all day every day, and threw up most days. No medicines would help at all. I was grateful to reach the point where I started to feel better. I wasn't sure that it was actually going to come! We are nervous and excited to meet this sweet baby. Right now, I can't even imagine having enough room in my heart to love another child the way I love Kendall. So I'm really excited to see how the L...
