Back in January, Kendall started to get SO excited about the most mundane things around the house. When we would pass the thermostat, for instance, she would open her mouth and breathe really hard, with her arm all the way out until she touched it. It was the same thing when we passed a light switch, she just HAD to touch it. The rod on the blinds was no different. Every time we carried her down the stairs, she saw the front door and would get so excited. The new exciting "household item" is the microwave. Any time we are close to it, she wants me to open it so that she can slam the door shut. (Maybe not the best habit to start, but it's cute nonetheless!) The best part about the blind rod is in the video below. She learned quickly that when she let the rod go, it would make a noise.
