My K Bug,
Today you turn 7 months old. I can honestly say that I have no idea where the time went. We drove by the hospital where you were born this past weekend, and I was having flashbacks of the day we brought you home. It literally feels like we were bringing you home just a few months ago...definitely not 7 months ago!
Your little sweet and fun personality is really starting to blossom. I can't express how much fun you are at this stage! You laugh at the silliest things, and get excited at everything! You love for mommy to open the microwave door and let you try and slam it shut. You love to grab the cord on the blinds and let it fall and make a noise. You love to constantly roll over when you're on your blanket. And I mean constantly roll over. You are such a mover. You love your exersaucer too!
You started eating real foods this month besides just rice cereal. So far, your favorite is homemade pureed bananas. Your appetite has really increased this month with your bottles, which is great. You are still a little peanut (you weighed 14 pounds at your last doctor visit) so mommy is trying to put some weight on you!
Unfortunately there has been a nasty cold going around at daycare, so you had two bouts of sickness in January. Mimi and Papa were gracious to come into town and keep you at home for a week until you were completely better.
You started going to bed SO much easier this month, which was great timing for mommy to start back to school! We put you to bed while you are completely awake, you roll around for a few minutes, and then usually fall asleep on your stomach with your knees tucked up underneath you. It's so precious! And now that you're not sick, you're sleeping 11-12 hours! Here's hoping that lasts for a while!
Mommy and Daddy are so completely in love with you. We love seeing you learn new things and explore the world around you. We are so excited for the weather to get warmer so that we can take you fun places this spring and summer! Happy 7 Month Birthday boo-boo.
Love,
Mommy
