Boy or Girl?

Well....the big day is coming up! In a little over 5 days, we will be finding out whether we are having a boy or a girl. Ryan and I are so excited we can hardly stand it. We've sort of been in "waiting mode" until we find out. We haven't started on the nursery, picked out names (although we have done some narrowing down), or even thought about a registry. I've warned Ryan that after next Monday, things will start picking up a bit! And don't worry...we're not keeping the gender a secret. As soon as we know, we'll be spreading the news.

Ryan and I both have a feeling about the gender, and we're actually thinking the same thing. So we'll see if we're right. If anyone has a guess, I'd love to know what you guys think we might be having, just for fun.

I'm still feeling great as far as nausea is concerned. I've read that the 2nd trimester is typically the easier of the 3, and that's definitely proving to be right so far. Which I'm so thankful for, because I would probably have to drop out of grad school if I was still feeling horrible. God definitely worked out the timing perfectly for this semester to start right at the beginning of my 2nd trimester!

On a fun note, I started feeling baby Tabor move around a few weeks ago. It's so cool and makes me smile every time I feel it. The other night Ryan was telling me a serious story about work, and I had to stop him in the middle of it because it felt like the baby was doing flips.

We would really appreciate your prayers on Monday that everything is still going well, and the baby is still looking healthy. We know that God knows everything about little Tabor already and we are certainly resting in his sovereignty!

This picture is at 18 weeks. (And yes...it is a self-portrait. Ha. Ryan was at his men's Bible study, so I decided to try it on my own.)

Happy 3rd Birthday K-Bug!

Kendall had her third birthday party at the splash pad. The rec center has a great room for rent where we held the actual party. Since she's in love with Doc McStuffins, we did the whole party around that theme. She had a good time and looked pretty adorable too!

Halloween 2014

Kendall went back and forth this year on whether she wanted to be her favorite TV character, Doc McStuffins, or a construction worker. The verdict was a construction worker until about two days before the Fall Parade at Weekday. She was such a cute little doctor! We also got to dress her up and go to our new neighborhood to Trick or Treat with friends. We closed on the new house on October 30, so even though we hadn't moved in, we were able to hang out with new neighbors!

Stone Mountain

Today was Kendall's first trip to Stone Mountain. We rode the tram to the top, ate lunch, rode the train around the mountain, and enjoyed the sights. Such a fun day with Grammy and Pops!   The sign of a good day!
