Lions, and Tigers, and Bears...

Well, there's not really any tigers in this story, but it sounds better. We are really loving Kendall's "preschool". She started about 2 weeks ago and it's going really great. This past week, her class learned a Bible story about David and the sheep he protected. They learned how David wasn't afraid of lions and bears, and God kept him and his sheep safe from them. They took this picture to show us what she's been learning.

Kendall is doing really great at preschool. She's learning how to play and entertain herself. She's becoming much more interested in her hands and in toys that are placed in front of her. It's been really neat to watch her movements become much more controlled. She can actually purposefully grab onto a toy now.

It sounds cliche, but she really is just the light of our lives. We are SO in love with our baby girl!

Happy 3rd Birthday K-Bug!

Kendall had her third birthday party at the splash pad. The rec center has a great room for rent where we held the actual party. Since she's in love with Doc McStuffins, we did the whole party around that theme. She had a good time and looked pretty adorable too!

Halloween 2014

Kendall went back and forth this year on whether she wanted to be her favorite TV character, Doc McStuffins, or a construction worker. The verdict was a construction worker until about two days before the Fall Parade at Weekday. She was such a cute little doctor! We also got to dress her up and go to our new neighborhood to Trick or Treat with friends. We closed on the new house on October 30, so even though we hadn't moved in, we were able to hang out with new neighbors!

Baby Girl!

We are 5 weeks away from the due date of our 2nd baby girl. I haven't been as good at documenting this pregnancy along the way. Some of that is owed to the fact that it's the 2nd, and some of it is owed to the fact that I just don't keep up with the blog anymore. But I know I'll want to look back on this time and have some documentation, so here goes nothing! This pregnancy has been a harder one than Kendall's. Or either I just forgot most of the hard stuff from the first time around. I was definitely much sicker this time, from 6 weeks until 15 weeks. I was nauseous all day every day, and threw up most days. No medicines would help at all. I was grateful to reach the point where I started to feel better. I wasn't sure that it was actually going to come! We are nervous and excited to meet this sweet baby. Right now, I can't even imagine having enough room in my heart to love another child the way I love Kendall. So I'm really excited to see how the L...
