Thanksgiving Program

Kendall's school had a Thanksgiving program and lunch this year that was so fun. My little bug and her class were little Indians and they sang two awesome songs for us. She did a good job and didn't cry when she saw us. She loves singing her songs for us at home now too. My little bean is the littlest one in the middle.  All of the kids on the front row are her sweet classmates. Keeping an eye on Mom and Dad

Cumming Fair

We went to the Cumming Fair again this year with some friends from our first small group through church. As our kids all get older, it's more and more fun. Kendall got to ride a big slide, teacups, and a carousel. They also have a really fun petting zoo where you get to walk around with the animals. It was a lot of fun. Wills Park

In August, a local park had a "Touch a Truck" where they bring in fire trucks, limousines, a helicopter, and tons of other government and utility trucks for kids to explore and look at. However, Kendall wanted nothing to do with it. I think the crowds and lines completely overwhelmed her. So on our way out to the truck, we came across an astro-turf baseball field that Kendall was VERY interested in. So the highlight of the event ended up being running the bases with her daddy. We could hardly get her to leave!

Happy 2nd Birthday - Elmo Party!

We had Kendall's 2nd birthday party at a park near our house. Kendall's favorite character is Elmo, so we had her a really fun Elmo party complete with playing on the playground with family and friends, eating pizza, and having yummy cake. She had a really fun time.  Some small group friends Mimi and cousin Caroline swinging Kendall  Loving her yummy cake Opening a few presents after the party Playing with her costumes from Aunt Laur and Uncle Geoff

Beach Fun

Well, I'm way behind on my blogging. So this is my attempt to catch up and not forget about the fun we've had this year. Here goes nothing! Ryan, Kendall, and I went to Ormond Beach in June with Grammy and Pops. This is a beach that I grew up going to, so it was fun to take Kendall there this year. She enjoyed the beach and liked building sand castles. We had a nice and much-needed time away. Little duckling following Pops around in the puddles Fun in the water with Dad Hanging out at the turtle preserve on a rainy day This picture makes me giggle. My mom decided that she could retire and take this woman's job sitting in the chair on the left.  So mom was scoping out the situation to see if it was a job she could handle. Country Carnival

Kendall's preschool had a Country Carnival today for the kiddos complete with bounce houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, and train rides. Despite the cold, windy, and slightly rainy weather, we still had a great time. And my sweet girl has absolutely no fear with animals...even snakes. Much to her daddy's disappointment! Playing in the bounce house Riding a pony - I promise she was enjoying it! Touching the pony's mane Kendall definitely tried to straddle the turtle.  I don't think she realized it was actually a live animal! Ha. Petting a chicken while her teacher "Ms. Kiki" helps out. Holding a bird Petting the snake - I think Ryan was about to pass out. My love bugs on the train ride The slide was probably her favorite part!  We had to do it over and over.
